We Are Proud to Be a Certified Sustainable Salon

At Great Lengths Hair Gallery we’ve always been huge advocates of environmental sustainability, and we’re proud to be able to say that we are now a Green Circles Salons Certified Salon.

What Does This Mean?

Great Lengths is one of the thousands of salons across Canada and the United States, that helps to keep more than 1.7 million lbs of beauty waste out of our landfills and waterways through recycling, repurposing, and reusing.

These efforts combined to prevent 51 metric tons of CO2 from entering our atmosphere last year alone, while ensuring that more than 140 metric tons of single use, salon-related items were kept out of landfills.

Our hair clippings, used foils, colour tubes, paper waste, plastic waste and chemicals are now shipped to Green Circles Salons* for recycling and repurposing.
